Springtime in Scandinavia is all about the flowers: at the markets, on the bushes, on doorsteps, in greenhouses, and wild in the grass.

With The Botanist, I have tried to capture bits of the seemingly endless range: bold and dainty, abandoned and orderly, soft and dramatic... much as in a fabric pull for a quilt! And yes, as you have come to expect, I have included a delightful panel print and a few other surprises to inspire creativity .

Colours were guided by the crisp spring air, endless waterways, and of course, the myriad of flowers I had the pleasure of seeing on a recent visit!

Twenty new colours have been added to the Watermark palette, bringing the total to 50 glorious options just waiting to add depth and a joyful range of hues to your next project.

The extended palette has been the jumping off point for my Bloom Wild Block of the Month, starting summer, 2027... I do hope you will join me!
