In creating my very first batik collection I sought out new ways of designing. Nestled in a tattered box of old carving tools I found a small stamp etched from an eraser that I had made years ago. Reassured in finding a familiar place to start, my new marks traveled from my Pacific-North west island to far away Indonesia to have a conversation revolving around color. Hope you find this collaboration with the artisans of Bali as inspiring as I do. ~Marcia
