There were some clarifications and corrections made to the free project. The project has been corrected on our website. If you have an older version, please note the following:
Under fabric requirements:
2 yards color#33434-3 Fussy cut 1 strip 1 3/4" from small floral stripe, save remaining fabric for Lemoyne stars SHOULD READ:
2 yards color #33434-3 Fussy cut 1 strip 1 ¾" x 54. Save remaining fabric for the Lemoyne stars and the border.
¼ yard color #33435-1 fussy cut 4 (2 ½") squares so you have a star in the middle of the blocks. SHOULD READ:
¼ yard color #33435-1 fussy cut 4 (2 1/2")squares so you have a star in the middle of the square. Use the rest of the fabric for the flying geese.
Under Instructions:
- Sew colors 33433-2 and 33438-3 together. Cut into 4 (12 ½") pieces. SHOULD READ:
Sew the fussy cut piece from color 33434-3 and the strips cut from color 33438-3 together. Cut into 4(12 ½") pieces
- Sew a 12 ½" strip to top and bottom of 12 ½" square. Sew fussy cut star corner blocks to the ends of the remaining strips. Sew to the side of the 12 ½" square. SHOULD READ:
- Sew a 12 ½" strip from A to the top and bottom of the 12 ½" square cut from color 33433-2. Sew the fussy cut star corner blocks to the ends of the remaining
strips. Sew to the opposite sides of the square.
- Sew 12 flying geese in a row make 8 rows. Sew 2 rows together to make 4 rows. SHOULD READ:
Sew 12 flying geese in a row, make 8 rows. Sew 2 rows together side by side to make 4 rows. Each of the flying geese units should measure 2 ½" x 4 ½" (this
includes seam
allowance)
