Spring Flight Corrections

If fabric has been already cut, most of the corrections can be made by trimming down the pieces you have already cut.  In two instances the fabric needs to be cut larger.

FABRIC A

2) Pattern states cut 11 pieces 2" x 10" should read 11 pieces 2" x 7 1/2"

4) Cut 3 squares 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" and then cut each square on the diagonal twice to give you 4 quarter-square triangles from each square (total of 12 used for ends of sashing strips).  (NOTE – these squares are larger than in the original pattern)

FABRIC B

2) Cut a square 5 3/4 x 5 3/4 and cut in half on the diagonal (Block C)

3) Cut a square 11" x 11"  on the diagonal twice to give you 4 quarter-square triangles (Block F) (Note – this square is larger than in the original pattern)

FABRIC C

One additional square needs to be cut

4) Cut 1 square 6 1/4" x 6 1/4" then cut both on the diagonal twice to give you four quarter-square triangles (Block E)

FABRIC D

2) Cut 1 strip 3" x WOF then cut 12 – 3" x 3" Squares

3) Cut 2 squares 3 3/8" x 3 3/8" then cut both in half on the diagonal (Block D)

4) Cut 2 squares 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" then cut both on the diagonal twice to give you four quarter-square triangles from each square. (Block E)

FABRIC E

1) Cut 3 strips 3" x WOF then cut 18 rectangles 3" x 5 1/2" (Block B, Block D, Block E)
