The Following corrections have been made to the Queen's China Free project: the revised project is now on our website.
- Fabric Requirements - for both Blue and Red Quilts
- ¼ yd EACH of 4 lights should be changed to 3 lights
- Under Quilt construction
- From EACH of the 3 darks, cut 4 - 3 ½" strips; from these strips, cut 36 (NOT 43) - 3 ½" squares per fabric.
- Replace for following:
For the light blue/red, cut 16 freezer paper templates. Iron onto wrong side of light blue/red and cut 1/8" past the edges. Then cut 4 quarter circles apart on the straight lines. Use spray starch or sizing to iron the seam allowance over the freezer paper on curved side to prepare for appliqué. Appliqué light blue/red pieces for primary background squares using your favorite method of appliqué.
