Terri Degenkolb grew up as a mid-western girl in a rural town surrounded by corn fields, animals and nature... Combining her rural upbringing with her current life in suburbia and her longing to be a big city girl, her creations have a traditional feel with a bit of a modern twist and a healthy dose of playfulness. She is a wife, a mom, an entrepreneur, a graphic designer, a writer, an artist, and a quilter. But it is all of these things woven together that makes Whimsicals what it is today and whether she is working with fabric, paint on canvas, a computer and mouse, or words on a screen, it is the process of creating that brings her joy.
